The Story Behind Baseball Factory

The story behind baseball factory

Baseball Factory is an organization that helps more players play at the college level than anyone else in America. Their services range from academies, world-class coaches and instructors, and an event showcase that gives players the chance to be seen by hundreds of college coaches. They are also involved with the EASTON HIT LAB, which is used at events to help players maximize their potential through advanced swing analysis.

The company was founded by Ivy League alum Steve Sclafani and his partner, Rob Naddelman. They were looking for a way to market high school baseball players to college coaches. Sclafani had worked as a baseball coach at the University of Pennsylvania, and he knew that many college players would want to use their skills to pursue their dream of playing professional baseball.

He started Baseball Factory in 1994 in his home town of Columbia, PA, with the goal of helping baseball players become successful in college and beyond. After a few years, he moved his headquarters to the Pine Orchard Shopping Center in Columbia, and he began to market nationally.

The company’s most popular service is the national showcase. Players attend a Baseball Factory event in their area and are put on teams that compete against each other. The best players are then featured on a Premium Player Profile, which is accessible to over 600 college coaches. The premium profile shows the player’s tools and allows them to upload video that they can share with coaches.
