How Baseball Videos Can Help Recruits Get Into the College Game

A good baseball video can get coaches’ attention and give recruits a chance to shine even before they step foot on campus. However, just like any recruiting tool, it is not a guarantee of a scholarship or spot on the team. Coaches still want to see excellent grades, skills that match their standards and quality references, but a well-done skills video can make a big difference in their decision-making process.

Baseball game tape helps college coaches confirm that the talent they saw in highlights is consistent from game to game. They also use game tape to evaluate a player’s attitude and leadership abilities. Recruits should be sure to have full at-bats or innings of them on the mound readily available for college coaches to request.
